Re: Here Comes the Bridesmaid?

There is a store called 'Here Comes the Bridesmaid' in NYC that sells BM dresses. Does anyone have their website or contact information?

I looked it up on Google, and didn't get anything.

Re: Here Comes the Bridesmaid?

I went on my lunch break a month ago and the lady was really nice! I wanted to feel the fabric of the After Six / Dessy dresses!

I went to the LI store. They have some great dresses/designers. However, I didn't find the women very helpful.

Re: Here Comes the Bridesmaid?

Would have to go to the Manhattan location - I'm a Brooklyn girl!

I just called, they can't take me tonight (UGH!) I hate when stores are closed on Monday's and then rush all their appointments to Tuesday's!

Oh well, I'm going to RK bridal instead, and then will check them out tomorrow if I don't find anything.

MOH is driving me nuts! We already picked dresses that make everyone happy, but she insists that they're not formal enough???? It's black!

I've seen your BM dress and this it is gorgeous and black does make it even more formal. Don't give in to your MOH! You are the bride! She should be happy you are so nice as to shop around and get them a great deal on their dress and that it is also one they woud be happy to wear again! Show her a little bridezilla!

Re: Here Comes the Bridesmaid?

Thank you for the words of inspiration. I'm honestly starting to get so fed up with this whole thing!

She just can't get it across her head that it's black, and it's polished cotton - formal....and doesn't understand that the dress she tried on in the shop wasn't a brand new one, and that's why it looked faded!

They're seriously always complaining about something! Price, material, color, cut - what next?

On the verge of getting rid of all of them, and having my mom as a MOH and that's it!

Re: Here Comes the Bridesmaid?

I think you need to inform them of what OTHER bridesmaids often go through. I am in a wedding wearing a dress that I will never wear again ($240 PLUS alterations) along with shoes that hurt and will be dyed to match the dress I will never wear again ($50). You have totally shopped around for a really cute dress at an incredible price. I'll sub in as a 'maid if you need me to!
