What to Write on the Reception Card?
I am having my ceremony and reception at WM so I don't need a reception card, but I think it would be a nice touch. However, I am having an afternoon reception CH 12:30-1:30 and reception 1:30-5:30. What do I write on the reception card b/c I can't say "please join us for cocktails, dinner and dancing" - what's between lunch and dinner? I feel like if I write "please join us for cocktails, lunch, and dancing" it sounds wierd and totally informal. Anybody have thoughts on this?

Re: What to Write on the Reception Card?
first, i would say you definitely don't need a reception card, it'll just be a repeat of information that is on the invitation. on the bottom of the invitation i would just say 'reception immediately following'. or if you really want a reception card write on it "Cocktail hour and reception immediately following".

Re: What to Write on the Reception Card?
You could maybe write
Please join us for cocktail hour and reception immediately following the ceremony in honor of the new Mr. & Mrs. Smith

That is what I would put.
