No Church Wedding - Should I still Have Programs?
Well the subject says it all - should I still have programs if I am getting married at the reception hall?

I am not getting married in a church, but I still think I am going to do programs...just gives the guests a sense of who is who and what is going on :)

I am and I'm getting married at my hall. I just like how it looks. Plus, people can know who your BP is.

same here. I think it's a nice touch, not 'required' but nothing really is required, except well the Bride and Groom hehehe

Re: No Church Wedding - Should I still Have Programs?
I got married at my hall and had programs. I wanted the guests to know the order of our ceremony and wanted to list the bridal party.

Re: No Church Wedding - Should I still Have Programs?
I am not going to do programs. Most people wind up leaving them on their seats or elsewhere. This is going to be something I am going to save time and money (and paper!!) on.The BP will be introduced at the reception, so people can hear names there, if they are interested. I am assuming everyone will know our (me and FH) names. Or at least I hope so.

Re: No Church Wedding - Should I still Have Programs?
We're doing a program at the hall because we're having a jewish ceremony and 1/2 the people there (me and my side) won't have a clue whats going on. So, we're including a description of what the ceremony means so my family and friends will understand some of the different customs and the explanation behind them.

Hey girl
I'm not getting married at a church either. But I am still going to make programs for the wedding. You could make something very simple at home using microsoft word and nice paper. Good luck
