Need a seafood restaurant in Nassau.......

my one year anniversary is coming up...we are looking for a good seafood restaurant in Nassau, possibly on the water. any suggestions??

I know of a lot of really good ones, but they are all out east sorry. The best are really in the Hamptons, but Freeport, is also good. There are a few good restaurants there.

How about one of the Fishes? Passion Fish in Woodbury (at the Woodlands) or Cool Fish in Syosset?

Louie's, in Port Washington. They have tables on the water, though you will probably want to reserve. It can get very crowded.

The food is good, not spectacular, but the views are worth it.

Coyote in Island park, they just re-did the interior and the menu, its nice!

louies is great. THe jolly fisherman in roslyn is fantastic, but not by the water.

Bayville has a lot by the water.

What about Steamboat Landing - i am not sure what town it is in, i am thinking Glen Cove, but it is on the water.

I second Coyote -- actually there are 5 restaurants in the area. Go on a Sunday about 3 pm the place is hopping. Any of these places are delicious.

Fishermans Catch in lido beach has excellent food and its on the water!
