Re: NWR (Weight Loss ?) - OPTIFAST?

My mother did this and lost like 50 pounds and it took awhile to start eating real foods again...however she gained the weight right back and more. She said it was a big mistake to do it...it does not teach you to change a lifestyle...just to lose weight fast.

I know this sounds ridiculous - but that's what I need right now - I know how to eat and will adjust my lifestyle accordingly, but I need to shed the pounds off quickly.

I had an initial consultation with my doctor yesterday, and I'm starting tomorrow. I have to meet with him every week to track my progress!

Wish me luck girlies!

everyone is different, it most certainly teaches you to keep the weight off, the diet has come along way since its original faze of like 400 cals a day. my father did it about 18 or so years ago and has stayed within 10lbs of his weight ever since. i didnt need to lose an extreme amount of weight, but i lost my 25 lbs on it and it was great. you will see results, you just have to have self control afterwards, continue to excersize and not expect miracles, if you eat fast food everynight, you will gain weight. good luck, you will do amazing

i wanted to add this website for you to read....its a good discussion board...opti board
