Tahiti, Bora Bora-Anyone get quotes yet?

After seeing pictures of the bride who just got back, It makes me want to go there 10x more!!
I know its sick expensive

but I am getting quotes for Hawaii..so just curious..just in case

I got some quotes a few months ago, but they were the '05 rates. It really depends on how long you want to go, what islands, hotels, room grades, etc... We are trying to stay b/w $6k and $7k for 9 nights split b/w Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora. Also, we will not do overwater bungalows for all nights b/c that adds up! Costco actaully has some pretty good packages including air from NY, if you go to the travel link on the site.

Most TA's have been telling me that the rates should be out this month or next for June '06. I'm patiently waiting!!!

I booked my hotels for:
1st night Tahiti Sheraton
4 nights Moorea Sheraton (over water bungalow)
5 nights Bora Bora Nui (overwater bungalow)
1 night back in Tahiti
I booked it on-line and it totals about 7200. But I have lots of points with starwood & coupons, so I'm paying quite a bit less.
My airfare is free to, I'm using miles.

A girl I work with just booked the same itin. & called starwood & they gave her 35% off the on line rate b/c it was her honeymoon.
