Going house-hunting this weekend...

wish us luck! I want so badly to get out of the city. DH would like to stay a little while longer, but is trying to be very understanding with my feelings. I hope we can find something we like in our price range. I wish I knew more about home-buying...

Where are you looking? Danielle and I looked at 40 plus houses before we found the one we bought.

Did you get a pre qualification done yet to see what you can afford? I would do that first, and then start looking at open houses. That is what Danielle and I did and we learned a lot from doing it too.

There are a lot of houses out there that are just scary, and that you cannot believe the prices of...Believe me we looked at a lot of them.
