diamond district?
Any of you buy wedding bands in the diamond district? or know of a good place to go? We've heard great things about the deals you can get there, but neither of us are familiar with the area. Thanks!

Re: diamond district?
Jeweler's Row (as it's also called) is on 47th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. There are many great places and deals to be had, provided you kow what you want and watch out for scammers. I recommend David or Cristina at 56 W. 47th in the back booth. My DH bought my e-ring there and my sister bought her wedding bands there (and e-ring). They are family friends, honest and affordable. Good luck!

Re: diamond district?
Dennis J. Dalton at 74 Bowery. They're really nice, patient and not pushy at all. We've bought quite a few items from there and have never been disappointed.

Re: diamond district?
go to someone recommended , if you just go down there you will go ripped off, fh told me when he was just looking (before my mom recommended a dealer she knew) he went down to diamond district, one place offered him a 2carat ring, supposedly great quality etc...15,000 , he looked through the lopp and saw a lot of imperfections, of course he wasnt buying it, by the time he walked out of the store 15 min later it was 7,000HMMMMM
