repost-taking pictures before the ceremony
HI,I am planning on taking pics before my ceremony at the Old Westbury Gardens. For those of you who have taken pics prior, do you have the whole wedding party including parents come along, or is just you and FH? Is a hassle to have all those people in tow? Would it be better to just take pics with those folks after the ceremony?
Any info is greatly appreciated!

I am doing the same thing. I believe you are having your ceremony at the same place as your reception, right? Well, My photographer told me to have my entire wedding party there at least an hour before the parents and grandparents. But I would call your photographer and ask their thoughts on it.

Re: repost-taking pictures before the ceremony
Actually the ceremony is at a church and then we go to the reception hall. The thing is the reception really does not have a place to take pics which is why I was thinking after the ceremony at the church.

Usually your bridal party is always with you. Your photographer will let you know what he has palnned and who he wants in the pictures.

Re: repost-taking pictures before the ceremony
i would def bring everyone! we all took 1 limo there (bp and parents) and it was fine...even in the heat. dh and i were taking pix most of the time but everyone else had more down time. it gave my bm and his gm more time to bond and get to know each other before the ceremony, which was really great! the pix came out awesome and everyone was ok doing the extra 1 1/2 of pix and walking in the gardens.Welcome New Vendors
