or are you inviting others to join in?

fh and i are a little on the shy side, and are uncomfortable at the thought of all eyes being on us. so we told our band to have our parents join in, then the bridal party, then the guests...

Gosh, I never thought of that. But since my FH is a ham, I have a feeling we're going to dance the whole song alone.

scott and i nervously danced our first dance the whole way thru. thankfully the song's (L-O-V-E by natalie cole) a short one.

I just figured we'd dance the whole song through and then have everyone else join us.

We are dancing by ourselves and will then have a second slow song for everyone to join in....

To me, it will be more special if it is just the two of us....

ours is by your side, by sade. it's not too long, but i think i'm liking the idea of people joining in... though everyone keeps saying---'it's your moment, you should dance the whole song alone'

We did and then 1/2 way through invited our parents, then the BP! Our band played it twice back to back

Nope..dancing with FI first, then DJ invites the wedding party.

I'm dedicating a song to FI (it'll be a surprise) in the middle of the night. We'll be dancing solo for that one..I can't wait to see his reaction!

DH and I danced alone...toward the end he made some funny gestures and started singing the song back to me causing the room to burst into laughter...yeah, my DH, the romantic!

We danced it all the way through because we had had dance lessons. But my DH is also a ham and doesn't really mind the spotlight. If you guys are a bit shy, then that's a great solution!

We invited everyone on the dance floor 1/2 way through the song. I was glad we did it that way.

No, I had everyone join in halfway through. We were so tired o0f having cameras flashed in our faces we just kinda wanted to blend in and dance LOL

Also when Im at a wedding I dont care to stand a whole dance and watch Id love to join in and still watch. My granparents also mentioned they had trouble standing for a whole song. When everyone joins in they can sit down if they want.
