Is it wrong to curse out the woman from Family Life Ministries (pre-cana)!!!!!!! UPDATED!!!

they sent me the card for the pre-cana marked Saturday pre-cana BUT the DATE of the card is a TUESDAY! I have been calling for OVER A WEEK! to have them tell me the correct date (it could be one of 3 Saturdays in October) and NO ONE will ANSWER the phone or get back to me!

I am getting VERY VERY frustrated!!! But I don't want to be sent to HELL!

****UPDATE- without having to resort to taking the Lord's (or anyone elses) name in vain, I have resolved the issue.

they gave me the correct date to START the pre-cana, Tuesday 10/4, for 3 consecutive Tuesdays, but they checked of the box for Saturday pre-cana. It is now all straightened out. Thanks ladies!!

I know what you mean!! I have been calling my priest for over a week and he hasn't gotten back to me yet!! I need him to fill out my paperwork so I can send it to Portugal!! Ahhhhh!!!! Just call me back PLEASE!!!

Hey if you guys need a better Officiant, I recommend Rev. Apirl! I call her up and she relieves stress for me! She is just wonderful! Let me know if you get sick of them and want to try her! I know she may not be a priest, but she is just great. I love calling her up!

Gotta love the Catholic guilt! Do whatever makes you feel better sweetie. God will understand. That is so annoying! I would keep calling until I get someone.

give her a call and ask her to pray for me...but as far as officiants- one, my family and FH's family would stroke out if we didn't marry in the church (and I wouldn't like it either) and 2? my officiant is actually wonderful, it's dealing with the bureaucracy of the catholic church that's maddening!

They will take care of it, you're not going to go with out taking PreKana. They have it all under control. They obviously made a mistake on the date. But there is time yet, youre not getting married until April. You'll be taken care of.

Actually, I don't curse much at all....the thing is I MUST get into the October pre-cana, b/c it's the last month before January, when tax season starts for my fh, so he will not be available. it is an EXTREMELY busy time of year for an accountant, so anything that pertains to him we have to get done before hand (he's even doing his bachelor party early for this reason)

anyway, they just frustrate me- I am a 'good' Catholic, filled with guilt- I could NEVER really do that.

The Catholic Church is so strict with it's policies and such... it gets so out of hand sometimes! Cursing (IMO) should be allowed.. especially if it would make you feel better!!!
I too, adore our officiants (yes, thats TWO priests... they both want to celebrate the mass. Who knew we heathens (sp?) were so popular?! )

I would continue to stalk them until you find out the correct date... call, write letters, send smoke signals if need be.. Good luck!!!!

i would not literally 'curse out' the lady - but i would let her know that this is aggrevating, stressful and blantantly rude - you do have a life (and a busy one @that) and it is rude for no one to tell you the correct date so you could plan around it.

heck your not wrong the church is taking 75 bucks for that and then 650 for the wedding it shouldbe included dont you think
