News on Bridal Suite in PATCHOGUE UPDATED below.

I don't want to scare anyone, but I have to let you know what I know. A friend of mine's mother is friends with a woman that works at Bridal Suite. And yes, they are closing. In fact, they can't even pay their light bill! It's definately closing because the woman that works (or shoudl I say used to work) for Bridal Suite is even moving to Bridal Paradise! I can't believe they are still trying to play it off like they aren't closing!!!! It's so messed up what they're doing. Supposedly, they are closed now 'for renovations' and then they are going to open up again for a liquidation sale, and then that's the end. Girls... just be careful...

I'm so sorry if this scares anyone, but I just don't want the guilt of knowing that if they end up screwing everyone, that I didn't say anything.

REMINDER: This is the Patchogue one NOT Centereach or Bayshore

I know, it's crazy!!!! All I can say is hold on to your receipt for your down payment and get ready to sue sue sue if they try to do anything stupid!

Ok gettin' a little nervous now that I read that....I just ordered my gown at Bridal Suite in Bayshore.....

Which Bridal Suite? The store in Bayshore or Patchogue???

I hear that! I'm not really surprised though. We got our dresses there for my brother's wedding and they were SO disorganized it was terrible. Our dresses came in SO late and they ordered me the wrong size dress so it was too short!! It was a total NIGHTMARE. Anytime someone asks me about them I tell them go elsewhere!!

UMMM HELLO!!! I ordered my dress there!!! AND its NOT in yet!!! So my mom heard this rumor a few weeks ago and she called. The woman who sold me the dress, Elaine, said that they are NOT closing...BUT, I have a feeling that she was not being honest. I just tried to call and there was no answer. I will keep calling and go up there after work. I'll keep you posted on any info I got.

OK, I have MORE info.

Here's the deal... they're closing at the end of the year. They will have a liquidation sale around October. For future brides, they've started writing letters and they're dresses will be transfered to another shop. Don't worry ladies... you'll get your dresses.

I know that they told me and my mom that they would notify us and have the dress taken to another shop but I DO NOT want my dress at Paradise Bridal (personal preference)!!!! Do we have a choice as to where the dress gets taken to????
