Stupid Birth Control Pill Question
FH and I are going to Europe for our HM. I know you are supposed to take your pill about the same time every day (I do it right before bed between 11:00 - 11:30). If London is 5 hours ahead, that would mean I would have to get up at 4:00 in the morning if I continued to take it at my normal time. FH and I want to start a family fairly quickly, but DO NOT want a HM baby!!!
Any ladies who have gone to Hawaii or Europe, what did you do? I'm paranoid about getting PG on my HM!
TIA

Re: Stupid Birth Control Pill Question
Maybe when you start a new pack, start taking it at a new time. Talk to your dr. about it, I am sure there is an easy solution.

Re: Stupid Birth Control Pill Question
LOL, When I moved to Europe I had the same question!
What I was told is to slowly adjust your pill-taking schedule to Europe time and then do the same when you return.
I'm sure you will be fine!

I was on ortho tricyclin lo for about a year and then began midcycle spotting on a regular basis so I switched to Lo Orval

Re: Stupid Birth Control Pill Question
I never have a problem changing the time I take it, either coming or going. I always take it last thing before I go to bed whether it's EST or GMT.

Don't worry I had the same question/concern this past May, when we went a Mediterranean Cruise.
All I was bought a watch with an alarm and kept it set to my ususal New York time. I take ortho tricyclen lo.
