Looking for an excellent seamstress
As one of the Bridal Suite of Patchogue disasters, I am assuming that I will be getting my dress from Commack Wedding Center. However, in case I don't want to have my alterations done there, can anyone recommend a seamstress?

There's a woman in East Northport (I believe), her name is Phyllis Limmer. I know many brides that have used her and rave about her. She doing my alterations and I also ordered my BM's gowns from her. Email me if you would like her number: [email protected]~~Kim

I used Amy of Amy's Couture Dressmaking iand Alterations in Syosset. I rave about her in my wedding review. She is located right by the LIRR station. She does an AMAZING job. FM if you want details.

Re: Looking for an excellent seamstress
I called Fantasia in Rocky Point and they said that they would do the altertions for no more than 200, but they are usually less than that. They will also store the dress as well if needed. Personally, I ordered my dress far in advance becuase I didnt want it to get discontinued, so now I need it stored for 14 months!! They said they would charge me $100 to store it for that long. I think that is resonable.

Re: Looking for an excellent seamstress
I took my dress out of BS of patchogue before all this happened, but when it just started.. Thank goodness. I had my first appointment with Phyllis last week. She is wonderful. I say to call her soon. She is probably going to be extra busy now that they are closing.
