Sandals St. Lucia - Grande vs. Regency?

My FH and I have finally picked Sandals St. Lucia as our honeymoon destination but we can't decide between the Grande or the Regency. I've heard good things about both. HELP!
Any advice/suggestions/opinions/experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Sandals St. Lucia - Grande vs. Regency?

I am going through the same thing right now. We actually booked our air yesterday and today I will be booking the sandals part of it. I think that I am going to pick the grande. I went onto tripadvisor.com and there were alot of neg responses on the regency. I really don't know how true they are because my travel agent said to beware of that site. Anyway the grande is the newest and we could always take a transfer to go to the regency if we want. I am not sure if this helps.

Good Luck.
Lori

Re: Sandals St. Lucia - Grande vs. Regency?

We went to the Grande on our HM, and had dinner at the Regency a few times while we were there. IMO, the Grande is definitely the best of the 3 Sandals resorts in St. Lucia. It's bigger, the grounds are nicer...not that it was bad, but from what we saw of the others we were very happy we chose to stay at the Grande.

Re: Sandals St. Lucia - Grande vs. Regency?

we are thinking about splitting our time between the 2. The first 5 nights at the grande, a regular room, then go to the regency and stay in a nice room with a plunge pool for 4 nights
