Hair on Wedding Day??

I called T Carlton and their prices were very expensive. That is fine if they are good. BUT, they told me that if any of my BP wants to get their hair done there, then they had to be on my contract and I had to pay for them in advance. Is this normal? I don't see why my girls can't just make a regular appointment for an updo?

I had to leave a deposit ($100) for the bridal party. I guess they are afraid that you'll make all those appointments and then not show. My deposit can either be applied to my bill that day or refunded.

Pay in advance? I haven't heard that.

When I booked makeup I did have to promise a specific number of 'faces.'

Yes, but they even said the girls CANNOT book on their own... They can only book with me as a group. I think that is weird.

tell them you are uncomfortable with their policy.

have your girls make their up do appts and THEN make yours. that way they can't say no!

Sorry, but there is no way I would pay for all of that in advance. To me, it is like being responsible to pay for blocked hotel rooms even if your guests don't book them. There are plenty of other vendors out there who will not require you to do that, or at least let the BMs book their own appts. IMO you should find someone else.
