Spin off- Do you hate when people say....
why do you need that? or I didn't have that at my wedding!like one day I said at work I am going to order matching place cards b/c the ones my halls gives me have gold trim- and I am using silver for everything
I feel like saying back why do you care? I don't need it- but it makes me happy to know everything goes together-
If my Dad doesn't care- ( he writes the checks) then why do they!

I dislike it even more when someone comments and then you find out that they are doing the same at their wedding...

I TOTALLY AGREE.... THAT IS GREAT YOUR DAD WRTES OUT THE MONEY FOR YOU... I AM PAYNG FOR HALL AND HONEYMOON AND THE BIG STUFF IS TAKEN CARE OF AND THE LITTLE THINGS WELL WE HAVE TO DO THAT TOO... LUCKY GIRL

I know I am lucky- my Dad is very generous
I give credit to everyone who has to pay for the wedding themselves
I am paying for the rings and honeymoon- he is taking care of the rest-

Especially because my family is all from out of town and they really do not understand what is involved at all. I also don't like people who have really strong opinions on styles of dresses because I am usually like, 'Really, I kind of like it that way!'

People like to tell me that they hate DJ's at weddings, and of course I am having one. I actually prefer a DJ, but maybe if I had the money I would pay for a band.Other people like to comment on how they hate strapless bridal dresses, when I say I am having one. Of course these comments come from the older generation.
Everyone will always have something to say, I just ignore them.

I have to laugh at the strapless dress comment!!!When my cousin (aka MOH) got married, my mother commented on how could she wear a strapless dress to her wedding especially in the the church, blah blah blah.
When I went dress shopping with my mom, what was the first dress she picked out and loved on me? A STRAPLESS DRESS!!!
I think so far the only person that has told me anything was one of my BM's. She kept asking me why wasn't I picking lilac as my theme, I said because I'm not crazy about the color. End of discussion.
Otherwise than that, I think the only other thing was my brother and SIL telling us we don't need a videographer because how many times are you really going to watch the video, and we agreed!
