I guess I'm doing my own hair - VENT

I have short hair, so there is not much to 'do', but I wanted what was there straightened and smooth. My bridesmaid agreed to try but just said that she is 'too nervous'. I dont' want to pay a lot of $$$ for someone to blow dry my hair, plus I hate when salons do it (they make it all proofy).... thanks for letting me vent!

I don't blame her either. If for some reason you don't like the way it comes out, then you will not be happy and neither will she.

But if it is any consolation to you, I envy you. I used to have very butchy short hair and I really wanted to keep it that way. It was very dramatic and even my mother said it would look awesome with a tiara and my long neck for the wedding. Until one day when FH said 'I'd like to see what you look like with longer hair.' I am giving my longer hair to him as a wedding gift but after the honeymoon, it is being chopped off. I miss my 10 second hair styling ritual. This growing out stage is like purgatory. I am neither here nor there. I surely hope my stylist can do SOMETHING with it.

Pic #2 Now (VERY bad hair day - getting roots done soon )by the way that is my nephew with me in the picture - he is one of our groomsmen

He is adorable! I like your hair both ways. I tried to grow it out, but it just kinda shoots outwards from my head :)

Your hair looks nice both ways, but I have to say not many women can pull of that real short look and it looks great on you!!!
