Wedding Photographers

My next task is to book a photographer for my May 2007 wedding. These are the ones I am looking at. Please tell me if you've used them, heard about them, or have any comments. Thanks!

There are a lot of Duet brides on the board, they even have their own thread so I would do a search, lol.

I love Imagine's work, Lia is extremely talented, and I heard great things about Verdi as well.

The others I haven't heard much of, but I'm sure there are other brides on the board that can offer more input.

I have an appointment with Velvet & Duet next wednesday. I've met with Glenmar, Queens Bridal, Cassarino and Patken. I was about to sign with Patken but ...(if you want more info you can FM me). Good luck.

Booked duet

the only other i looked at on your list was marco-just from showcases and daniel krieger, but i never actually got to see him because the day i had an appt with him i booked duet so i didnt have to go anymore.. he was a nice guy on the phone though! and i have heard great things about his work!

I shopped Perceptions and had a good experience, They can be a little pricey but he was very nice. I have appointments with Jovon and *************

I booked Dan Krieger after meeting with Duet and Patken. Me and FH were impressed with his talent and his experience (34 years). He is recommended by Villa Lombardi's (and did one of the Lombardi girl's wedding, too). He works out of his house and his prices are VERY reasonable.

I've heard of Verdi, and saw a lot of their work on their web site. One of my co-workers nephews used them and she brought the pics in and they were so beautiful.

they are a little on the pricey side compared to the others you listed. BUT probably totally worth it. Remember when you book a photographer you're booking his worth and talent. Don't pay too much attention to how many negatives you're getting, or how many albums. Pay more attention to QUALITY.

If you like Verdi, you'll probably love Visual Concepts too. That is who we're using.

Thanks so much! I am going to meet with Verdi and Duet in the next month or so. We'll see what happens! My dad is actually a great photographer so I am going to take him with us to interview them. I'll let you all know how it goes! Thanks again
