question about OOT hotel gift bags

I want to do the hotel welcome bag but here is my question...what if you are giving people a choice of where to stay...how do youknow how many bags to leave at each hotel...do you call up like the day before and get a count and leave a few extra just in case...

I'm in the same situation. I'm guessing that you have to check and make sure you blocked enough rooms in case you need to add.... they'll probably be on the list of many calls that we need to keep checking on.

I believe that since you are the one blocking the rooms that you will be able to just call up your sales rep and ask them how many people are registered under your wedding code. Then you can drop the bags off a day or two before and they hand them to people when they check in.

When my friend got married, the hotels she used periodically sent her lists of the room block listing the guests staying there. I don't know if they do that here, but I'm sure they can tell you.

My hotel told me that I have to put names on the bags...so I am going to go the week before and get the list of reservations since we blocked rooms, I am assuming that they will just put our name into the computer and our guestsnames will come up. then I am going to make a few extra..for the stagglers...sorry hope that is helpful!
