DIY Votive Placecards

Wow.... I really thought these would be hard to make.... I just attempted my first one and it looks great (If I happen to say so myself!) Lets see how enthusiastic I am after making 70 more!

no way - i have only made a half a** attempt and I cant get the curvature (?) right when cutting them out. What's the secret?? I REALLy want to do these myself and save some $$$.

The vellum I bought has the curve in it already..

So glad they are coming out great! Where did you buy vellum with a curve? Did you get the votive paper from Michaels?

Very cool! I bought tha plain vellum paper and going to attempt to make them using a template. Hope it looks good.

are you using a pre made template? I am afraid of making them myself but I already bought the tea lights and votive holders. I hope i am as lucky as you!!

I made the template myself using text boxes in word and it seems to be perfect!!

would you mind explaining. I know what a text box is but how did you know the size ect. I am very slow at learning this kind of stuff appreently Did you do a lot of trials before getting it right?
