So I bought the hot tools flat iron

and I am not liking it to much. I don't know if its because I am not used to using it or it just doesn't work that way I want it to work or the way I think it should work. Also my hair gets caught in it so right there that's a problem. So I think I am going to return it. But what other brand should I get and what size? 1' or 2'?

I know there have been lots of posts about this so sorry for posting again.

Re: So I bought the hot tools flat iron

I have a 2 inch, I think it's Revlon but I find it's kinda big (there's no room for it in the bathroom) so I don't use it anymore.

I have a 1' Remington Wet2Straight that seems to be working well (I use it on damp hair).

Well, I dry & style most of my hair (I have a flip going on in the back) with a round brush, then use the iron for the front & front part of the sides. So by then my hair is damp but I think it works well.

I think if I was going to use it for my entire head without blow drying at all, I'd want a 2'.

Re: So I bought the hot tools flat iron

I think I have the hot tools one - and it usually works well, but because of the humidity, it hasn't been working great. Nothing works...

I use the maxi-glide and even though some people on here didn't like it, I love it.

I have to agree. It's good for an hour and then...full blown frizz.

But this weather even people with pin straight hair have issues.

yes!! you have to be careful not to use too much though or else you'll end up looking like an oil well!!! i use just a dab, rub it in my hands, \and then apply it to the ends and any other areas that have flyaways. i love the smell of it too!!!
