Bridal Shower Wishing Well
I need some ideas. For my cousins Bridal shower we did a "spice wishing well" where every one brought a spice.
I loved that idea. For my other cousin we want to do something like that but a little different. Any ideas?

Re: Bridal Shower Wishing Well
At my shower they had a regular wishing well (everyone bought small gadgets/items and it was put in a hamper and wrapped with bows)
My mom also did a "basket of cheer" where it was filled with things related to happiness. "glad" bags "cheerios" "jolly ranchers" "Joy" "Cheer" detergent..etc..it was great!!
The spice thing sounded cute! It just reminded me of the basket of cheer b.c it was themed and i really loved it and used everything in it.
Another idea which i just thought of (lol, i'm dreaming up cook baskets!) ...what about a "rainy day well" where people can give things that could be used towards a quiet night in?? Wine, dvd's, gift certificates for a free movie rental, candy, popcorn, sundae bowls, sundae toppings etc...oh i like this idea so much i may have to use it for the future!!!
good luck :)

Re: Bridal Shower Wishing Well
You can write a different theme on every few invitations so that the bride doesn't get stuck with 5 of the same items. My SIL did this, and my theme was "bath" other people had kitchen, and garden. It was nice because she didn't get the same things.

Re: Bridal Shower Wishing Well
this may be nerdy...but what about a medicine cabinet wishing well? Band Aids, Neosporin, Advil, Sudafed, dental floss, toothpaste...all that stuff is really $$$ if you had to buy it all yourself!

That was my wishing well at my shower. We were going to Hawaii on our honeymoon, so my bridal party had people bring things related to Hawaii/HM. I got beach bags, towels, picture frames, suntan lotions, lots of great stuff!

Re: Bridal Shower Wishing Well
Was it a spice that went with a recipe card the guests brought? I want to do that for my cousin's wishing well but can't find a poem that explains the recipe card AND explains to bring an ingredient, utensil or cooking tool to go with it for the wishing well.
Any ideas out there?
