He has insurance to cover like other people.. I dont know what its called - basic? Nothing to cover themselves.

Anyone know of a cheap caravan for sale. My parents need one asap.

Oh and dad was in the car when this happened. He turned around and drove home to get the fire extinguisher, but when he got it and ran out the hood was jammed so he couldnt open it to put it out. It went completely up in 5 minutes!!!!!!

Well, just glad that everyone is okay. A car can be replaced. A dad can't be.

I can't believe that thing went on fire like that though. Maybe you should try contacting the manufacturer.

All drivers in NY need 'liability' insurance to be on the road. (This protects you in the event that you hurt someone else or damage another person's car...) You do not need any other coverage such as 'collision' 'glass' 'theft' 'fire'...Alot of times it's really not worth getting all that coverage on an older car.
