Need inexpensive bridal shoes

Help! Where in NYC or in Nassau are brides getting their shoes? I hate heels (uncomfortable) and don't want to break my ankle, so am looking for low heels. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I was at the Milleridge this Saturday with my MIL and parents talking with the florist. Made a few chances adding more candles and some ivy.

Need inexpensive bridal shoes

I just got a pair with 1 and a quarter inch heals at Hazel's, on Bell Blvd. in Bayside. Craft Shoes in Commack had a big selection of dyables too, several with low heels. They had some around $49.00 - I think Hazel's did too.

Need inexpensive bridal shoes

Before I hit the bridal shops for shoes I decided to try some of the department stores. I was just lucky I found exactly what I was looking for right away at Saks Off Fifth in Long Island. It's an Anne Klein bridal shoe that's only an inch high and cost me $59.99. I suggest looking as early as possible.

Do you by any chance remember if a cake style was included where the tiers sit right ontop of one another- or stacked? I didnt really want mine separated by columns. Im having mine decorated by my florist with real flowers and i have a mental vision of what it will look like. Dont we all? Anyway, how many people did you have at the reception and was the dance floor big enough? -Thanks for all your help...Stacey

Kathi - Thank You!

Thank you so much for the feedback - I'm so glad to hear a review like that. My one big fear is still the cocktail hour if the weather is bad, but I guess I will just keep my fingers crossed and muddle through it...were people talking about being crowded in? Thanks again! Lee

Ideally, I want to do it in Nassau County or Queens, at a place on the water, with lots of windows. Do you know Sans Souci in Sea Cliff? I’d love to do it a place similar to that, but not there, since that’s where me and my husband had my engagement party.

Do you have any suggestions? Any thoughts on the Swan Club, Carlyle on the Green, or Westbury Manor?

Kathi - Thank You!

You're welcome! People weren't 'talking' about it being crowded in! Just me and my FI were since we're suddenly VERY observant of the goings on at these places! LOL. I'm sure you'll have a beautiful day! :)
