Sandals Whitehouse or Secrets Excellence Punta Cana?

We have finally narrowed down our honeymoon search...Any positives and/or negatives about these places would be awesome! Thanks girls!!!

We're going to Secrets Excellence We liked Secrets better since you didn't have to make reservations for dinner in any of the restaurants.

I've also booked Secrets. However, we were originally considering a Sandals Resort. I did some searches on here and the Knot and I've heard many people say that Sandals is more expensive and not as nice as other all-inclusives. When we priced Sandals it was a little over $1000 more. I know we'll be much happier w/ Secrets.

Two of my friends at work went to Punta Cana Secrets Excellence and had nothing but great things to say about it I don't know anyone who has gone to Sandals.

These are the two resorts that we were down to when making our final decision. We went with Sandals Whitehouse. I didn't know much about Secrets and we got a great deal on Sandals (they have been having a lot of sales lately) and my travel agent recommended Sandals. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. Do a search I know people have posted their pictures of their honeymoons at these resorts. Good luck!

I just booked Sandals WHitehouse , also had a debate with Secrets, but they didn't have the room category we were looking for, but I debated on a zillion honeymoons. My friend is a travel agent, and she said the whitehouse was really really great. But whatever you choose will be fabulous....you will be with your new hubby!
