Tipping Photo/Video

My Father and FFIL think you don't tip the photographers and videographers the day of the wedding, I thought you did. Did anyone tip after they got their proofs back?

we tipped our photographers assistant but not our videographer and photographer because they own the business. From what Ive read on here most girls did tip their photographers if they didnt own the co.

Not sure about tipping when you get your proofs back but Id probably only do that if its the owner whose doing your wedding.
