Flowers by Brian or Flower Michelle?

Ladies I'm torn between the two. I got a better deal at Brians more for less but liked John and their flowers. I'm getting more at Brians than Flower Michelle. What should I do?

I've been to 15 florists. If I see another florist I'm going to puke.

You sound like you really liked John so maybe you should go with him, even if he is a bit more pricy. These are the two flower vendors I will probably be interviewing myself, when the time comes. Just out of curiosity, how much should I expect to need to spend on flowers? I have never done this before and have no idea of a range for how much it might be..

Flower Michelle, would be my choice, Brian did my brothers wedding and we had a very bad experience with them and it realy dampered the wedding day. If you would like you can FM me. Angela

I've had the opposite experience. My sister and friend both used Brian last year. One weddinng was at the North Hills Country Club, and the other was at The Carltun and their flowers were amazing!!! Honestly they blew everyone away!!!!! My bo-k as the MOH was stunning! I would go with Brian... actully I am, just need to book my dj and then i am off to flowers!

I booked FBB. I searched all over for a florist and just loved his work. I honestly haven't heard bad things, one of the post on here is act. the first bad post I've seen. Brian isn't a kiss *ss type, if that is what kinda turned you off to him. I feel like he doesnt sit there and BS you like the other places I went to did.

Just go with what you feel is best. Is it a big difference in $$ ??

I actually booked FBB last week!! He was definitely a down-to-earth kind of guy who didn't try to over sell me a thing! He listened to my ideas and then created a perfect vision of my day for me!! I told him how much I loved stephanotis and he told me he could recreated Jessica Simpsons bo-k at no extra cost! Plus I have only heard great things about him and his work!

I've been to two florists so far. They were both around the same price. I think if I went to 15, I'd go buck nutty no to mention have a major allergy attack.

Aside from the fact that we booked Flower Michele, I would never go with Flowers by Brian. They constantly would call my sister's phone #, which is listed in the phone book (as mine is not, and we had the same address) and ask for me. Basically telemarketing. My sister told him a few times that there was no Christine at that number... but yet he still kept calling back. And I'm not just talking once or twice. I honestly feel that telemarketing to brides is totally dishonest-- I did NOT give my # out to him (I guess he got it from one of the halls I visited), so I do not want him calling me and harassing me, much less my sister!

If you love John at FM, speak to him about the package you were offered at FBB...you'd be surprised at how often vendors are able to work with you. It can't hurt! I have yet to hear one bad thing about John at FM, if that helps any...but if $ is an issue (and when isn't it?) speak to him...good luck!

Next time they call, tell them you booked a florist!!!

I keep getting calls from DJ vendors, photography, you name it, some have called more than once. I find that once you tell them that you already made a deposit and booked another vendor, they leave you alone.

Yeah, me too. I find them very annoying. I went to see Flower Michele on Friday and I thought John was awesome. I thought the price he quoted me was very reasonable.

I'm a litle confused, did Flowers by Brian quote you less than Flower Michele??? Wow, that's strange, I've always heard of FBB to be somewhat pricy, and FM be extremely reasonable.

Definitely speak to the one you LIKE to work with, personality means a lot to me and see what happens.

Thanks ladies. Honestly, I haven't spoken to John to let him know of the deal I'm getting. I guess it doesn't hurt to call him and talk to him. I just feel weird having him add stuff to match Flowers By Brian and then telling him to give me a better price. Have any of you ladies that booked John, know him to be flexible?

Don't feel weird! You are spending a lot of money and are entitiled to ask for what you want! What is the worst thing he can say -that he can't match it?? You have nothing to loose, so be honest and let him know what Flowers by Brian are giving you.

We met with Flower Michelle and had a very nice experience with them. I would recommend trying to work with them.
