Church decorations?

PLease give me your opinions.... I am having our ceremony at a small church. I ordered a floral basket for the alter, but do i really need to get flowers or bows for each pew? Waste of money to me but don't want it to look bad!

IMO it depends on the church..some churches are so beautiful inside that I dont think they need any decorating at all. But you can also do pew bows every other pew or just drape toule down the aisles w/ flowers on some of the pews.

I agree that it depends on the church. The church I am getting married in definitely needs some decorations. I have seen pictures that people have taken in the church w/o decorations, and it really needed it.

Our church had a LOT of fall decorations and we probably didn't need anything at all. We did have 2 pew bouquets for the first two pews and that was it. I used the florist who does the flowers for the church, though, and she told me that they always have weekly altar flowers that she would try to match with ours- which were just fall colors.
