Opinions please, what to wear to a Sunday evening wedding???

Hi Ladies...

Any idea's?

So far I have a black skirt with a black and white wrap top, should I wear stockings? or can I wear sandals with no stocking?

I am going shopping later today to see if I can find something different, but I'm not sure how dressy I need to be, plus what is the rule about white after labor day? do we even still follow this rule? lol (not a white dress, but maybe white sandals, if I pick a different outfit?)

ETA: The wedding is on Sept 11, so I am actually thinking to dress very conservatively hence the black skirt and wrap top..

My wedding is a Sunday late afternoon (invites say 5:30) but it's 'Black Tie'... Does the invite specify anything like this? If not, the outfit you picked out sounds good. I don't think you need to stockings unless you are more comfortable that way.

My wedding is going to be on a sunday evening too..

Mine is also on Sunday evening and not any less formal than a Sarturday evening despite what etiqette says.

Personally, I'd wear stockings, without may look a bit too casual.
