Question about wedding gift
Hi --DH and I are going to Aruba next month --two of his friends from highschool are getting married.The invite says 'Your presence is present enough' --so this tells me that they do not expect any gifts - but I feel funny going empty handed --what do you think we should get them?
(oh --i am pretty sure that their gift to us at our wedding was a re-gift from their engagement!)...

Re: Question about wedding gift
that statement does imply that gifts are not necessary probably since they know people are coming from far away to celebrate with them... I too would feel a bit funny not going with something at all, so how about a registry item? since they gave you a gift /regift I wouldnt give money... my personal opinion though... (hey how about giving them a regift of the regift???
)

i couldn't do that --even if they did it to us --i don't know --i am leaning toward just getting them a card since it is costing us so much just to get to their wedding...

ha ha ha!!! my mother in law told us jokingly to give the regift back to them with a note that says 'we loved it so much -thought we'd get you one too'!!!!!!
