if so, does it really work? does the chrome even chip or peel off?

Yes my sister had them for her favor, they are great. Love it. We found a website that sells them really cheap. Its www.wrapwithus.com Good Luck!

I got one at my brother's wedding and still have it in the original box!! And this is with 5 bottles of wine in the house!! I guess it's time to break it out!!

I actually got that exact one as a favor. It is the best favor I have ever received at a wedding. It's so useful!

Lori0517 gave them as placecard holders and then the favor was a bottle of wine. Good Idea...I think it was mine.

Yeah, I have 4 of them. They get a little rusted-looking at the tip, and I wouldn't turn them upside down or anything, but they don't pop off.....

I gave them out at our wedding- same exact one. Everyone loved them, people still talk about them. 1 1/2 year later mine is great

That's VERY similar to my favor. It's a wine bottle topper with a heart (a little different than that heart) and it comes in the same box. They work very well and fit into different sized bottles.
