I would say yes. It is a nice gesture especially since this will be your photographer for your wedding. It's a nice way to let them remember you when your big day comes. They will remember you either way, but maybe they won't go crazy when your bridal party is running late. People always remember who tip them and who DOESN'T.

I wouldn't tip if this isn't your photographer for your wedding.

We didn't at the engagement shoot, but made certain to give a generous tip the day of the wedding.

we didnt tip for e-pics, we did tho generously the day of the wedding

thanks ladies, I feel so much better! I really thought I was being thoughtless and inconsiderate. By the way I did ask him if he will be our photographer for the day of my wedding and he said yes.
