My BMs are driving me crazy *vent*

This is all about dresses. I told them they could pick out whatever dress they want as long as they are all from the same designer so that color and fabric matches. I send out two pictures this morning of two that I liked (the satin ribbon could match the satin ribbon on my dress) and I feel like I started WWIII. One sends me back an email stating ' You can’t have this many people giving opinions. A decision will NEVER be reached' I am not asking for a decision. What part of 'Choose your own dress' do you not understand?

I am sorry you are having that issue. I gave my BP the same choices you did and it worked out for us. Sometimes people can't handle too many choices. They need limits. Its like going out to eat at a diner. Too many choices on the menu and it takes you forever to order.

yes - but unfortunately i agree with your bridesmaid. pick the dress for them - tell them the designer and where to get it...in the long run the chance they consider you a 'bridezilla' is well worth it compared to the BS of a bunch of disagreeing bridesmaids...

I am sort of doing the same thing but supervised. We are all going together and I am letting them choose what they want and vote on a dress....the bottom line is that I have total veto power...If they cant handle it I can easily take control and just choose one. Sometimes you think you are doing a nice thing but people can be ridiculous sometimes.

Perhaps you can give your BMs three options and let them choose from those? I agree with the poster that said sometimes too many choices can be overwhelming. If you choose three dresses that you like and let them select from among those, they'll feel like they had a say in the decision and you know you'll be happy with all three dresses. Sort of a win-win situation!

I am sorry - I picked out 4 differnt dress that all came in the same color material bla bla bla and just told them out of these 4 try them all on and pick which one you feel looks best on you - they were fine with it -

I went through the same dilema....and I came on the boards, and stated the same thing.

I took the advice of about 90% of the ladies that posted, and picked out the dress for them, told them how much it was, and they all loved it!

I didn't get called bridezilla, and they were all actually RELIEVED not having to make the decision.
