Another First DIY Project--Bridesmaid Cards!

I can't believe it, but I got them done! I am usually lose my patience when it comes to arts and crafts type stuff, but maybe I am more motivated because it is wedding stuff

I am going to try to post pictures...hopefully they will work

PS..Tara I stole the little dresses you used on yours..they are just too cute!

Jess, I love them!! They are sooo cute!! I used the resizer thing too and I picked the option in the middle. I forget what it said. I don't know how to make it bigger if you did the same thing...Anyway, they are awesome. Excellent Job!!!

So I plan on giving these cards to the girls as I see them, but there are a couple that I know I will not be seeing for a while (they live out of state).

Should I mail it to them or hold on to it until I do see them?

I like the idea of giving it to them in person since it is more personal, but I would like to ask them officially before I see them again.

What do you think?

I think you should mail them since you want to ask them before you see them again. That's what I would do, only because if you ask them before, on the phone or whatever, and then give them the card afterwards, it won't have the same effect as if you mailed it to them and they saw it and where asked for the first time. Do you know what I mean? They'll love it and who doesn't love getting mail. hehe When they come into the states you can maybe GTG for lunch and personally thank them for accepting your offer. JMO...but do whatever you feel you want to do.

I would mail them, They wont expect it, and once they open it they could show it off then store it somewhere safe.

I think you should mail them...it will be a surprise if they dont know its coming and as Mandy said everyone likes getting mail!

I customized each the top 10 lists based on the girl, but i got the idea from a list that I found on the internet. If you go to google and type in Bridesmaid top 10 list you should be able to get the site.

Some of the reasons i used were:
You look great in (color of BM dress)
I will get you a great BM gift
I will pair you up with the cutest groomsman
I need someone to help me go to the bathroom in my huge dress
You will have the best seat in the house for the ceremony
My guy friends asked for some hot girls to be in the wedding party
I know you will throw me a great bachelorette party
and then the number one reason was something like because you are a great friend and i love you...

I was doing a search on google and i came across it.

you should be able to find it by going to google and typing in bridesmaids and top 10 reasons :)

I love this idea! I was thinking about doing something exactly like this for my bridesmaids.
http://www.meandmybigideas.com/ has great cute stickers for scrapbooking and little personal touches. You can also get their stickers at Michael's arts and crafts stores!
