I went to a wedding at Chateau La Mer back in October and it was one of the best I have ever been to, the food and service were excellent.

Me and FH wanted to go yesterday for the tasting but they were all booked so we scheduled our tasting for 09/21 instead.

I had never been to a wedding there but we did have an office dinner.

Ok my review... The cocktail hour was in the room on the right and there was alot of food. The fruit was hard to get at. It was behind other plates of foods. And if you didn't have long arms, you couldn't reach it. And I have very long arms if you know me, I gave up but the fruit looked so fresh. I really wanted some! lol.

It was a help yourself buffet so you could take as much as you wanted and they didn't use the mini cokctails plates so you didn't look like a hog carrying 4 plates.

It was a gorgeous night so there was plenty of seating inside and out. I didn't eat too much because I had a salad before I went. (It was a late wedding, started at 7:30). The bride and groom arrived by boat. I thought it was different and cute idea.

My only complaint was: we were in the upstairs room and she had a lot of people. It was kind of tight with the tables being on top of one another and I sat at the head of the table. Of course it was the only main aisle to get to the bathroom or to the bar so I kept getting bumped in the back of the chair when I was sitting down. Which was just to eat... I danced the entire time. I had the stuffed shrimp which was delicious. They also had pasta which I had a taste of. But I never got to eat my appetizer (Mozzarella & Tomato) or salad. But loved my dinner.

Tommy Tunes was the DJ, they were very good the only thing I did not like is as soon as you were getting into a song they changed the music into another song. I love 'Got to be real' and they went into another song and it wasn't all the way done. But I still had a good time. That is the only vendor I knew of.

Then they put cookies and pastries on all the tables. Now this is my weakness... I love pastries. They were so fresh!!! I think I ate the whole plate! Definitely my favorite part! But I had a very nice time. The view is beautiful.
