Two 'I Do' letter questions

1: Did you have your letters flat, or standing up on the table?

2. Did you use the date as well (ex. I Do 6-17-06)?

i made 'we do' letters and i plan to have them displayed flat on the guestbook table with rose petals. i'm not gonna have the date, i think the letters are enough. besides, it took a lot of patience to make the letters bc i kept messing up lol. no more painting for me. ~lacey

i've only heard about these letters on LIW...they can be i do or we do, you buy the wooden letters at a craft store and paint them your wedding colors. you display them at your wedding on a table of your choice. its just another DIY project. mine came out cute, i still have to take pics. ~lacey

I did WE DO and had them standing up on a table with wedding photos of our family and friends!

We ddi them, but we added grommets and had them stand up straight.

We did I DO letters had them on our table centered and had the bouquets sourounding them ( someone put the glasses on them during the night- they seemed to be a hit!)

I'm not getting married until 2007, but thanks for the idea! I'm definitely going to get WE DO letters and I thought it was a cute idea to lay them flat by the guest book, like someone mentioned. Although I think it would look cute on the cake table or the bride and groom table standing up.

Okay, thanks girls! I think I know what we're doing. FH likes 'I Do' better than 'We Do'. So we'll do 'I Do' letters standing up by the cake table, with no date. We are having a custom cake topper that may have to be on the table itself since it may not fit on the cake. I don't want there to be too much on the table, so I'll leave out the date. Yay! Hopefully I'll make them this week!
