Fellow Brides! I NEED HELP!!

Any of you getting married at St. Demetrios Orthodox Church in Merrick or know someone who has? My fiance and I are both Orthodox and we wanted to get married at St. Demetrios. We are not members of the church so they told us it costs $900 to use the church and another $250 to have someone there (we're getting married next Labor Day). Is this how much it is or am I being taken for a ride?

Can anyone help?????

I don't know the answer, but you could check out another church just for comparison purposes.
