Is anyone not wearing a veil or tiara?
P.S. I haven't even gotten my gown yet, but I never saw myself in a veil. I think I'd like my hair up, or half up and half down, with some flowers in my hair. Having outdoor wedding at Giorgio's.What do you think? Is this too unconventional?

I think no veil with flowers in your hair would look good, you're not the first bride to do that and I always think it looks so classy and romantic. Do what you want, it's your big day !!!!!

i was thinking of doing that too - until I tried on my dress and they put a veil on me. I had never really thought of myself as a veil person (even FH said - 'you're gonna wear one of those things!?!' in disbelief), but it really did complete the look. I'm not doing a tiara though - that is just too too much for me!i do LOVE the look of orchids in hair though. very romantic :)

i am going for the orchid in the hair/no veil look - when i picture it in my head it looks great.mind you i have no dress, nor have i tried one on -but im 95% sure i will be sans veil and 1000% on no tiara.
ETA - pics. the first one I LOVE. I plan on stealing that look. Love her dress too. Hope she doesn't mind me posting it, who ever she is!

Me too - I thought for sure I'd be a flowers in the hair bride and not a veil bride - but once I saw it on, I knew I had to have it, and a very long one too. It was very surprising to me. You should give it a shot, but again, orchids are gorgeous too! You can't go wrong either way.

Re: Is anyone not wearing a veil or tiara?
i was very anti-veil - until they slapped one on my head when I had my dress on at the salon. I'm getting a cathedral length and it coming off after the ceremony (much to the chagrin of my mother). Also to the chagrin of my mother, there will be NO tiara. I think I might switch the veil for a flower with a low bun.Do what you like and feel comfortable with.

I tried on 4-5 different veils with my dress and didn't like the way any of them looked. I keep looking at those Tacori crystal star looking flowers and thinking - those would look great. Unfortunately the price is outrageous - $360 for 6 of them.Welcome New Vendors
