I need help purchasing a gift for a first year teacher.

It's my cousins' (moh) first year as a teacher.

I wanted to get opinions from all the other teachers on what I should get her. I'd like to get her something that will last forever.

A gift certificate to a teacher supply store...or if you are looking for less practical and more personal, then something with her name on it - like a wooden calendar thing or some other kind of 'cute' desk thing.

Some places have marble apples (paperweights) that you can have engragved with her name.

when i first started teaching my fh bought me a crystal apple from tiffanys and my mother bought me an adorable apple that is a music box (wind beneath my wings) , and my cooperating teacher bought me a waterford crystal apple... i love them all!

coach makes Apple leather keychains- the outlet stores always have them.

ALSO, tiffany makes a silver pendant in the shape of an apple. It's so cute - lemme find it.
