Calling all CLM girls

How much did CLM offer to pay for the cake, before you had to pay extra? This is waht I want, but dont' think it will be included.

I picked one of the cakes out the book and had my florist decorate it so there was no extra charge for mines. I would give Nick a call and find out though

Also picked one from the book, bring in the picture when you pick your cake and talk to them about it.

Had them make mine. I'm not sure what they would take off, but when I talked to the baker he told me what I really wanted was just too much and no matter where I went I would be spending so much more. I wanted fondant and those sugar flowers.

Instead I went with buttercream and the florist decorated it, but it really turned out perfect!

You can go directly to the bakery and tell them what you want and they will tell you what extra you would have to pay. I don't think its a set amount, I think its just a pretty basic cake... Round, with buttercream...

but TALK TO NICK FIRST and tell him what you want!!!!!!!!!!

Nick and I sat down and I told him exactly what I wanted. Square pink frosting, chocolate cake... He said o.k.

Then I went to the Bakery to see if they had any white decorations to put on it...swag, dots... I wanted to look at the book. The baker then told me, OH NO! You CAN NOT have a square cake, you can not have pink frosting etc.... At that point I was just like fine - do whatever you want. (Im sure you could search for that post)

When I showed up on my wedding day it was EXACTLY how Nick and I discussed! Make sure you talk to nick FIRST!
