You know she should go to JC Penny! They have a lovely selection of dress for mothers of the bride. You don't need to go to some elberate wedding store. Also try Burlington coat factory, Macy's, Sears, etc... Believe it or not there are some lovely dresses out there that don't cost an arm and a leg. Also check out TJ Max.

My mom got her gown at Bridal Relfections in Carle Place. We absolutely love it. It's by Ysa Makino.

My Mom switched several times, but finally ordered this one from Mon Cheri's Montage collection. She will be wearing it in pink. She ordered it from Flowerama Bridal Plaza.

My mom's was by Karen Millen. DH's mom (in the darker blue) got her dress at David's Bridal
