Washer/Dryer Combo-Question
What does everyone know about those (fairly new--I assume) washer/dryer combo's?
*NOT* to be confused with the stacker washer/dryer combo's.
I actually mean one unit that both washes and dries the clothes.
Does anyone have one?
Anyone have any experience with them? Know how well they work? etc. etc. etc.
Thanks.

Re: Washer/Dryer Combo-Question
DON'T!!!! That's my advice to you, just DON'T!!!
My husband always says that things that are meant to do two things at once never do either of them very well - example - those rollerblade sneaker things they used to have. They were crappy rollerblades and then when you took the wheels off they were crap sneakers too!
But seriously, the washer dryers can't dry the same amount of clothes you've just washed - they're just not big enough, so you have to either do really small loads or take the wet clothes out and dry half at a time. Plus, you can't wash another load while you're drying the first. We were living with a friend for a few months and he had one and it was just awful!!!

Re: Washer/Dryer Combo-Question
They've been in Europe for ages. The older ones may not work so well, but they have perfected them now and lots of people have them. IMO, they are suitable for one person in an apartment but not for a family. From my experience they work very well, but are better on small loads.
