Tell us 5 things we don't know about you.

Hey girls,

I saw this thread on the other boards and decided to steal the idea. I thought it would be a good way to get to know each other.
Ok I'll start.

1. I work for Cablevision.

2. Fi and I met at K-mart! (we used to work there)

3. Fi is 26 and I am 22 almost 23

4. Fi and I LOVE the Tv show Friends. We always watch the reruns and own all the seasons on DVD.

5. I recently became obsessed with working out and since then have lost about 2 pant sizes!

Good idea...

1. Im a psychology major...though out of school for the moment

2. I have a ridiculous collection of Cabbage Patch Dolls

3. I told FH to F off the first time we met

4. I sleep ALL day whenever possible

5. I am the WORST procrastinator! So you ladies just might have to give me a good kick in the a$$ soon!!

1- I work for TFCU part-time.

2- I've been going to school forever!!!! Hopefully one day I can graduate & get a real job. (As a History Teacher)

3- I am 23 FH is 29... Dating for 5 years.

4- I want a HM baby!!!

5- FH wants to name Vera after his mother & it's killing me.

I'll add a 6th

6- Just got Invisalign braces put on (for the wedding of course.) And they hurt alot.

2) F is a Science Teacher

3) We met 4 years ago at Chelsea Street (in East Meadow)



4) Our favorite restaurant is Chevy's (NYC)

5) Our favorite games to play together are scrabble and Dr. Mario (N64)

1: I recently graduated with my Master's Degree and I am finally working as an Occupational Therapist in a couple of school districts in Suffolk!!

2: FI and I met at Danfords in Port Jefferson when I was only 17 and he was 19. We both used to work there.

3: I really need to become obsessed with working out so I can lose 2 pants sizes!!! I wish!!!

4: FI and I hardly ever go out. We stay in almost every night so we can save money and because we are boring. We do love to eat at Red Lobster though!!!

5: FI and I have been dating for 6 years and it will be 8 years the day before our wedding!!!!

I here ya on #4 - we are the same way

And we have been together for 5 years and it will be 7 years two days before our wedding!

1. I am a bodily injury claims adjuster and FH is an auto damage adjuster...we both met at Geico...he still works there.

2. The first time he asked me out... it was for coffee.. and I said NO.. lol... thank goodness he was persistent.

3. I love running...have been doing it since 9th grade. FH loves sports too, baseball, basketball, hockey.

4. I am a Yankee fan and FH is a Mets fan...woohoo!

5. for fun, we like to go to the movies and go to sporting events. Also, love going out to eat...we just recently discovered the Armadillo Grill in Babylon Village---great food!! (tex-mex)

ohh what a good idea!! My turn!

1- I'm 22 and a elementary education and sociology major graduating this coming June!!!
2- Fi is 25 and also a elementary ed and sociology major graduating in June ( yes we take every single class together!!)
3- I love to paint , swim ski, and CATS!!!!
4- Fi loves video games and snowboarding and of course cats!!!
5- we met 5 years ago at Genovese where we both worked and I made the first move!! heehee

Fun!

1. I recently got my master's degree in nonprofit management and I am a fundraiser for a nonprofit

2. My FH is in his last year of medical school

3. We live in Manhattan in a tiny overpriced studio

4. I love to eat!! (especially out, but have been trying to cook more to save money)

5. I watch way too much TV!!

Here goes:

1. My F have our own apartment and lived together for a year and 6 months!! Been together for almost 4.

2. I met him through a mutual friend.

3. I am an elementary education major.

4. F and I like to go out to eat. Favorites: Ciao babys, Red lobster(quite the popular restaurant), and La Panchita.

5. I have the cutest dog named Lexi. She is a spaniel mix, I adopted her a little over a year ago. she is my baby.

#1 - I have a hidden tattoo
#2 - I was a Championship Baton Twirler
#3 - I was engaged before
#4 - When I was 10 I stole my brothers joint and smoked it behind the garage
#5 - I quit smoking 2 years ago and have gained 30 pounds since.

Yeah I was with MTA, NBTA and ESTA.
We were really big into it. we wnt to the world championship in las vegas and at notra dame, didn't place in vegas but got 10th in straut at notra.
we even went to twirling summer camp it was so lame but i guess when you are little things like that are cool.

1. I work for Con Edison.

2. I'm 30 and FI is 24

3. We met at Modell's Sporting Goods where we both worked and I thought he was too cute but also too young.

4. I am not having any more children (he doesn't want anymore either).

5. I dislike cheap people (so that's most of his family)

And for good measure:

6. We scrapped out first wedding because his mother decided she wanted to invite 100 more people than originally planned for but wasn't contributing a dime towards the wedding so we decided to pay for it ourselves and invite who WE want to invite (and to hell with everyone else).

OK -

1- My FH and I met and fell in love 8 years ago in November
2- He is a photographer and I am a marketing coordinator
3- We both love cooking, creativity in the kitchen and entertaining friends
4- We can both sleep in all day on a Sunday and have absolutley no guilt issues
5- Oh I love shows like CSI, and Smallville and of Couse I was HUGE Buffy fan!


PS – the image on the left is a picture of us taken about two weeks after we meet at a dinner party- its one of my favorite pics because you can see we are sooo into each other. I played around in photoshop and got this cool effect.

1 - FI and I got engaged after only seven months!! :)

2 - This is my fourth year teaching elementary school Spanish.

3 - FI and I purchased a two family house last year!!

4 - I recently graduated from Queens College with a Master's in Special Education (woo hoo - huge pay increase!!)

5 - FI and I met at school - we were teachers in the same building!
