What should we wear for e-pics?

We are going to take our e-pics in a couple of weeks and I was wondering what we should wear.

I want to wear a black shirt (thats my signature color! ) Should FH wear black too, or a solid shirt in a different color? We will probably both be wearing jeans.

Any suggestions ladies?? TIA!!!

We both wore black shirts. But I think your FI can wear black or any solid color. Who are you doing your E-pics with?

Where are you taking pics? this should work with your apparel, not against it. Outdoors- in a studio? please give me more information before I make suggestions. I wouldn;'t want to say somthing ultra cas. while your taking your shots in the Grand ballroom at Old Westbury Gardens.

We are having our epics done with ADA b/c they came with our package.

We are going to the beach to take them - but it is in october so I won't be able to wear a tank top.

What color looks best on FH? Since it's at the beach I'm asuming your going casual? Maybe you in a black shirt & he in a color that works well for him. What color brings out his eyes? What color does he feel best in?

His eyes are brown...but he wears blue alot. I was thinking a solid blue button down with jeans. Sound good?? Be Honest!

Yes, however I think since it's being shot at the beach (even though he may be chilly for like 30-45minutes for the shoot) it would look cute if he rolled the sleeves up,not all the way just scrunched before the elbow. maybe w/ a wife beater(Ihate the name of these tanks ) underneath, and have the shirt only buttoned in the middle(like 4 buttons). Shirt untucked, maybe flipflops so you too can frolock where the waves crash the shore, w/o ruining shoes. What type of black shirt are you wearing?

Well I was thinking of getting a short sleeve button down for him, if I can find one.

I am looking for a light thin close fitting black sweater with 3/4 length sleeves. What do you think? Not like a big winter sweater, kind of like the polyester ones, i think, do you know what I'm talking about? Its hard to explain.

I think so, is it a shallow v-neck? that sounds good the short sleeve. I always think long sleeves are too professional- formal. Are you both wearing jeans? How are you doing yuor hair. don't forget a mirror, brush & lost of spray to hold it, the coasrt are so windy

Yeah we are both going to wearing jeans. I am having my hair lady straighten my hair. I usually do it myself but I dont want to miss any spots!

What do you think of that kind of top?? Good or no?

I love. I think it's sexy, sophisticated,. classic. that way you won't look back at the photo 10 yrs from now and be like o-m-g what was I thinking. Smart I dea to use a pro

Well I'll be on my shopping mission tomorrow, so wish my luck that I find what I am looking for! I always get this idea in my head of what I what but can never find it!

Good Luck...maybe you should shop at Gap, Old Navy, J Crew and store likes that to find an outfit.

we will be having our e-pics soon as well ( sometime in october) in the park with all the fall leaves in the background so i was thinkingt about wearing a button down shirt with like a vest thingy and slacks and Fi would wear a nice button down shirt with dockers- something like that - who knows by then i might change my mind all together !

Oh do you have a centry 21 or Filens there? I love them, I aleways find everything I want there.

No they donate have either stores there.
