Anyone going with tan suits instead of tuxes?

Just curious if I am the only one doing this? FH will also be wearing brown flip flops instead of dress shoes (and boy is he happy about that!)

I was thinking about that since we are doing a beach theme and our wedding is on the water... but our ceremony starts at 7:30pm on a sat night so we wanted to keep it formal w/ black tuxes.

But I absolutely love that look!!!

My FH is in a wedding in Florida next Saturday and they are wearing tan suits and white and tan sandals. I will take lots of pics and FM you when we get back!

We really want to do this also, but My FH checked, and all the tux shops don't rent suits. And we can't ask all the groomsmen to go out and buy a suit that they'll use for one day. I think it looks so classy though!

I think a beach wedding would look lovely with the guys in tan with flip flops. Very traditional.

The groom selected the suit and FH bought it at Men's Warehouse. FH preferred to buy the suit as opposed to renting a tux becuase he can wear it again to other weddings and such. It also cost less!!

I am actually having tuxes at my wedding, but we are letting the groomsmen wear their own and only coordinating shirts and ties.
