We are having trouble finding a perfect song. I was thinking about I hope you dance by Lee Ann Womack but I'm not sure.

but decided on 'my girl'

I had my Dad choose.... we had 'Daddy's Little Girl' and then it switched to 'Times Of Your Life' ... the transition was great

I know how you feel- When I asked my dad what song he wanted and said Daddys lil girl- in my head I was like okayyyyy not my first choice and then he said but by the Mills brothers- so I decided not to hear the song until we danced together and you know what- the words were beautiful, my dad sang to me and the version he picked was great- its strange really no music its more acoustic style I guess, but to see the joy in his eye to dance to the song he choose with his daughter on her wedding day was PRICELESS- I was pleasantly suprised with the song! GL!

My father also wanted daddy's little girl, but I searched for some songs and found butterfly kisses which I fell in love with. I had my FI play it for my dad one day. My dad later told me he knew that song was good for us b/c he started crying after listening to the lyrics. It's a really nice song and the lyrics are great for a wedding.

I had my heart set on this song... then FH made a suggestion which was very unique and I really loved it!

We seem to have this Beatles theme going for dances (our first dance is Here, There and Everywhere, FH is dancing w/his mother to In My Life), so since my name is Michelle, FH thought it would be nice to dance with my father to the Beatles song Michelle. I think it's very unique and not many brides can do something like that.

I used this one after the lady at the bridal salon reccomended it.... it was perfect and so different from what you normally get to chose from.
