We need a HONEYMOON chat section! Anyone for Hawaii?
Anyone going to Hawaii? What islands and for how long? What hotels are you staying at?

We're going for 13 days. Staying at Oahu and Maui i think. In Oahu we'll be staying at the JW Marriott and for Maui we're still deciding which Marriott to stay at (using points). Would 3 islands in 13 days be too much? Should we try to go to Kauai?

we are going to Big Island for 9 days... we are leaving in a week
we wanted a less crowded, less touristy island but still be able to get the feeling of Hawaii... I will be sure to post my review when we get back...

Just wanted to butt in. We may go to Maui for our HM, but last year we went to Kauai. I definitely recommend it. It is less touristy than the other islands - all the HM couples I met while there said they liked Maui and Kauai the best

we're going for 9 nights- 4 nights on kauai at the sheraton and 5 nights on maui also at the sheraton

I heard the Four Seasons on the Big Island is awesome! We are staying at the one in Maui. And we were going to stay at the Princeville in Kauai...also heard it was great, but for some reason, we wound up booking the Hyat.

I didn't even know there was a Four Seasons in Maui. Or I would have stayed there too...I have stayed at a Four Seasons once, on a business trip...it was honestly the best two nights sleep I ever had. Everyone I know RAVES about the Four Seasons. I can't wait!!

we are doing 7 nights on maui and 5 nights on kauai. we talked to a lot of couples who had done hawaii for honeymoon and every single one said Kauai is a 'must do'. it is so much more relaxing than the others, more natural (only 30% of it is accessible by roads), no mcdonalds on every corner, etc. Maui can get pretty crowded / tourist-y but is beautiful and has alot to do. and we heard oahu can just be packed, packed, packed w/ tourists and if you don't want to be in a big city (and we didn't since we can go to NYC any time) there really isn't a need for oahu. we did a lot of research on this, i would definitely say do Kauai

We are going to:6 Nights - Oahu - Hilton Hawaiian Village - Ali'i Tower
6 nights - Maui - Hyatt Regency
I can't wait! FH and I wanted to go somewhere more urban and crowded so we could party and then spend the 2nd half of our honeymoon relaxing

Thanks SuzBride! I'm seriously thinking about Kauai now, even if its for 3 days or so. I mean we're using my FMIL's Marriott reward points so all the hotel stays would be free. So why not right?

Can I chat even though I already went to Hawai? We only went to Maui and I can try to answer any questions. We stayed at the Four Seasons and it was out of this world. After Maui, we went to LA and Vegas. We can't wait to go back for our Anniversary. Let me know if I can help, I am so jealous of anyone who is going!!!!!

We are not going to Hawaii, but i would love to have a chat section just for HMS!!!!!! Maybe we can all ask Ron and liz!
BTW.. we are going to Anguilla for our HM for 10 days!!!! Can't wait!
