save the date question

Does it matter if they don't coordinate with anything? I'm thinking I will have sage green BM dresses and pink flowers.... but I'm not sure. Do I go with this on save the dates or do something more neutral since I may change my mind?

Re: save the date question

Mine wwere plain ivory with an ivory ribbon. The ivory only matched my invitation cardstock, nothing else. i think you have a little more freedom when it comes to STD's.

Re: save the date question

I printed mine on nice flowery paper, but not the color I'm using for the wedding. I figure everyone will get enough of that between the shower, invitations, and the actual day-of.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with it if you do want it to coordinate. I just don't think it's absolutely necessary.

Re: save the date question

Thanks~ I guess I want to try and coordinate, but then wondered whether I should do that since I hadn't ordered dresses yet! I like the colors, so I think I am just going to do it... if they don't end up being wedding colors, so be it!

Thanks!!!
