Feeling a little sad
FH just told me he is doing an indoor volleyball team. The thing is he did a summer volleyball league and it is him, 3 of my BM, 2 of my other friends and a bunch of his friends. I feel kind of left out. I would love to play but all my friends were on the volleyball team and the league is kinda serious (thus I would be the ruiner - and would ruin their 'serious' games). I go watch every once in a while, but I still feel left outJust feelin sad and hoping for some
I guess.....

did he play at Jones Beach? my fh did (drove all the way out from Brooklyn on Sunday nights) with a bunch of people that we know. I suk, so they would never let me play with them (the won like 2 out of 3 leagues) but funny enough, other teams would ask me to play when they were short....so I still got to have fun...let them play, find yourself a hobby for that time slot. I recommend belly dancing...and maybe VB will become his old hobby!

I think you should secretly take lessons..then go out there, like a hustler and kicks their butts!!! Wouldn't that be great!!

he played at Cedar Beach - it is the 'sister' league to the Jones Beach one.
let them play, find yourself a hobby for that time slot. I recommend belly dancing...and maybe VB will become his old hobby!

Aww, don't feel sad!!! After all, just remember you're getting married and you get to chat with us!!!!! They don't get to do that!!! I know it's not the same, but there are perks to being the 'team cheerleader'. You don't have to worry about getting hurt (esp b4 the wedding) or dealing with a loss, you're their support!!!

I feel your pain... FH does just about every sport under the sun, and it seems he never takes a break. He just finished VB this summer down at Jones Beach, and already his softball team started! Flag football is just around the corner also.. hello?! What happened to saving MONEY?!

They are the ones who should be sad because they are not lucky enough to have you playing with them.

Just feelin sad and hoping for some
ugh i know what you mean! go to the games a few times- you will see that you are not missing much.
